Create your first tier list in under 60 seconds!

⚡ Quick Start

**Time to First Tier List: Under 60 seconds**

  1. 1.Choose a template or start from scratch on the homepage
  2. 2.Drag items from the bottom pool into your desired tiers
  3. 3.Customize tier colors and labels (optional)
  4. 4.Click **Export** to download your tier list as a PNG image
  5. 5.Click **Share** to get a URL you can share with others

🎯 Drag-and-Drop Functionality

Desktop (Mouse)

  • Click and hold an item, then drag it to your desired tier
  • Drop the item in any tier row to rank it
  • Reorder items within a tier by dragging them left or right
  • Move items back to the unranked pool by dragging them down

Mobile (Touch)

  • **Long-press** (300ms) on an item to enter drag mode
  • Drag your finger to move the item to a tier
  • **Swipe left/right** on an item to quickly move it between adjacent tiers
  • **Pull up** the bottom drawer to see all unranked items
  • **Pinch to zoom** to view your tier list at different sizes

🎨 How to Customize Tiers

  • Rename tiers: Click on any tier label to edit it (e.g., change "S" to "God Tier" or add emojis 🔥)
  • Change colors: Click "Customize" in the toolbar, then select from color presets or enter custom hex codes
  • Add tiers: Click the "+ Add Tier" button in the Customize panel to create more than 6 tiers
  • Remove tiers: Click the × button next to any tier in the Customize panel
  • Reorder tiers: Drag the tier labels up or down to rearrange their order
  • Upload custom images: Click "Upload Images" to add your own items with photos

📥 How to Export Images

  1. 1. Click the **Export** button in the top toolbar (or the floating button on mobile)
  2. 2. Choose your quality: **Standard** (1200x800px) or **HD** (higher resolution)
  3. 3. Select background: **White** or **Transparent**
  4. 4. Toggle the "Made with RankMaven" watermark on/off
  5. 5. Click "Download PNG" - your image downloads instantly!

🔗 How to Share Tier Lists

  1. 1. Click the **Share** button in the toolbar
  2. 2. Your tier list is saved with a unique URL (e.g., tierflux.com/r/abc123)
  3. 3. The URL is automatically copied to your clipboard
  4. 4. Paste and share the link anywhere - no signup required!

🎉 Remix Feature: Anyone who views your shared tier list can click "Create My Version" to remix it!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account?

Nope! RankMaven works entirely in your browser. All your tier lists are saved locally using IndexedDB. No signup, no login required.

Where is my data stored?

All your work is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB. We don't upload your tier lists to our servers unless you explicitly share them. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Will my work be saved automatically?

Yes! RankMaven auto-saves your tier list every 10 seconds. You can also access your recent tier lists from the History page.

Can I use RankMaven on mobile?

Absolutely! RankMaven is fully optimized for mobile with touch gestures, swipe actions, and a mobile-friendly interface. Try long-pressing items to drag, or swiping left/right to move between tiers.

How many items can I add?

There's no hard limit! You can add as many items as you need. The editor is designed to handle large tier lists smoothly.

Can I create more than 6 tiers?

Yes! Click "Customize" and then "+ Add Tier" to create as many tiers as you want (3-10+ tiers supported).
